Shire White

Sale price $5.00 Regular price $10.00

A white tea with broken leaf grading, Shire White was raised high on Malawi’s Thyolo Mountain. After being harvested in rainy spring, Shire White’s leaves were crushed, revealing a robust flavor reminiscent of fresh bread and honey.

Steeping:
Like most white teas, Shire White should be steeped in a water temperature between 195•F - 205•F, and a steeping time of about a minute. Shorter steep times with a lower temperature will produce a luminous, delicate tea. Steeping at a higher temperature will increases complexity and bring out notes of honey. Like all our teas, this tea can be brewed multiple times.
